We have left our puppy Golden boy (Oakley) in her in home care for four consecutive nights.  She met with us beforehand and spent time making notes regarding everything about his care.  She was awesome with helping with training and socializing him with her own 2 yr. old boy (Kodi).

Marci kept me updated with text and so many heartwarming pics and videos with both of my boys.  I truly feel like Marci loves them as her own, and I never worried for a second about their care.  We have actually already scheduled some daycare stays for the puppy because he had such a great time playing with her 2 yr. old boy!

We have always boarded our 7 year old mastiff at the kennel when we travel, but had a 10 day trip planned and I was feeling terrible about leaving our girl there for that long. I decided to give Zen Petcare a try in hopes that it would be a less stressful experience for our Maggie. Indeed, it was!

When we've boarded her in the past, she pants for hours after we return, sheds like crazy, and sleeps for two days to recover from the experience. We returned home last night and Maggie was overjoyed to see us, but also totally relaxed and happy. Her behavior was and continues to be completely normal, as if we'd never left. That says it all for me!

During our time away, Marci sent multiple daily photos and videos of our girl, including several showing Maggie's head snuggled happily in Marci's lap (which is her favorite thing!) The pics were fabulous and I saved so many of them to my phone— Marci could have a side gig as a photographer! It gave me such peace of mind, being able to see her so happy and relaxed and clearly in very loving hands.

Upon our return, we found that Marci had vacuumed and tidied up, which was so nice and unexpected! I had not had time to do that prior to our departure, so she left our house cleaner than she found it! Overall, our experience with Marci and Zen Petcare was 100% positive and we will continue to use her wonderful services whenever we travel.

Marci did a great job pet sitting Kona for us while we were away for our Son's wedding.  She took Kona on walks, played ball, had her do tricks, brought her dog over for play time, and even gave Kona some chill time to sit on the deck in the sun.  I know this because she shared multiple photos and videos, and sent texts updating me throughout the weekend.  Marci was also flexible in working with our schedule.  I would not hesitate to recommend Marci's Zen Petcare to others.

Marci/Zen Petcare provided 6 days of care for our elderly Puggle and super-elderly kitty.  Marci is a true animal lover!  She came to our house 4 times each day to let the dog out and take him for walks, refresh water and cat food, and just spend time playing with them and keeping them company.  She sent pictures at least once each day of our pets, and let us know how they were doing.  She had a fantastic suggestion of adding a little water to our cat's meals to help her stay hydrated and make it easier for her to eat.  Really helps!  Also ensured our dog had his meds every day.

Marci also kept an eye on the house, plants, mail/packages and even kept our bluebird feeder filled.  High-quality care, reasonable rates, wonderful peace of mind.  Will be using Zen Petcare and Marci again in September and into the future.

Marci and her husband, along with their chocolate, “super pup”, Kodi, (and their cats) patiently welcomed our chocolate lab pup, Benson, with open arms. During his week long stay with them, he had his first “sleep away” from our home and family and was treated like their own. Not only did Marci take the time to ensure Benson was cared for in all ways, she went the EXTRA mile to train/exercise and entertain him. She sent us videos and photos while we were gone and truly offered Benson “5 STAR” love and care. He undoubtedly had a blast and can’t wait to go back! He also now has a new bestie named Kodi🐾❤️.

Zen Petcare is amazing!  We have three dogs and had a dog sitter prior that fed and spent the night with our dogs but didn't walk our dogs.  So, I thought I would give Zen a try.            I have to admit that I was really nervous about this change.  However, let me tell you that I loved everything about our experience.

Marci is very professional and thorough.  She gets to know your dogs prior to leaving with an in-home visit.  On that first visit she listened, asked questions and took notes of our needs for the dogs. (love that we had to provide paperwork too about our vet, etc....) This visit made me feel so much better as I could see her interact with the dogs. 

While we were away Marci sent texts daily of our dogs walking with commentary.  Loved this so much. We have one funky dog and she was amazing with her.  I never thought she would ever let someone else walk her but Marci did it EVERY DAY while we were gone.  Not only is Marci a dog walker, she is also seems to know animal behavior.  So she understands how to handle our one dog that is scared. 

I also liked that Marci gave a quote before we left so that we knew exactly how much we owed.  Marci's communication is outstanding before, during and after her visits.  To me that was very comforting as I was nervous about this new experience for our dogs.  The last thing I loved about Zen is that I could choose what I wanted Marci to do.  You can choose from her website a menu of exactly what you want or need for your dogs with the prices so there is no grey area.  For example, I could have her spend the night a few nights while I was away and also walk the dogs.  Change is always hard as we all know but this was an outstanding change and we will definitely use Zen Petcare again! Kudos Marci!

My sweet miniature schnauzer absolutely loves Zen Petcare.  Fritz recently was cared for by Marci for three weeks while I was out of the country.

Marci sent photos once or twice a week showing Fritz loving his “vacation” and she frequently sent little updates as he enjoyed every minute with her.

Marci/Zen Petcare has taken excellent care of my labrador Boo and orange tabby Tigger on numerous occasions.  They love her and all the attention she devotes to them individually when she comes for visits.  Her communication is exceptional and very detailed, covering feeding habits to behavior. She send pictures with updates which is very comforting when one is away from one's fur babies.

Marci is also very good about spontaneous visits when I have forgotten to arrange petcare for a day and need last minute assistance.  She has run back up when I had less experienced care forget to change litter, etc.

She is well versed in young pet care to geriatric care and has herself experienced all phases and many medical conditions of pet care from failed eyesight to diabetes.
